Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every case. Also is the Mental status examination. Well , in your case some advice can still be given. Drugs like Libotryp and amitriptyline can definitely cause constipation. These can be replaced with other drugs which are now available for your problems with lesser side effects. Do increase your liquid intake to keep a better hydration. Keep a regular bowel habit schedule. Keep green vegetables and fruits in your food habits. Keep a regular time table for your sleep hygiene.
