I have been using nexito 5/10mg for anxiety problem as prescribed by doctor.And as doctor said it can be used for long time to reduce the problem.
However iam facing side effects by using the nexito tablets..
Is there any alternate tablets/medicine without much side effects

Nexito/ escitalopram is one of the safest/ least side effects causing SSRI which are commonly prescribed for anxiety. Despite this it can cause some worsening of symptoms in the initial days. One of the most important things is to take medication daily at regular time otherwise it causes flu like discontinuation symptoms.

you should discuss this with your doctor. Usually symptoms improve in 7-10 days. Short term use of benzodiazepines can also help.
