Anxiety related hypertension
Iam suffering from anxiety related hypertension iam using bp tab also. But my first reading always high than later readings. Each time iam taking 3 readings.
During first reading iam very anxious and excited .
2 and 3 reading iam very free it shows normal.
Pls suggest which should be considered?
First reading or later readings or avg of 3 readings.
1 reading 146/80
2 reading 122/70
3 reading 120/70

You should learn relaxation by deep breathing or progressive muscular relaxation. Do this for 5 mins before your first reading.
If readings are consistently in normal range, then speak to your doctor for tapering them off.
