Anxiety is a part of normal day to day life for all of us. However when it starts to cause significant distress, and causes difficulty in our functioning it needs to be sorted out and treated. From your brief description it is reasonably clear that you are suffering from an anxiety disorder. The precise diagnosis and cause will require a detailed and comprehensive assessment by a psychiatrist. My advice for you is to seek an early consultation for assessment and subsequent management. Such an anxiety can be managed with psychological interventions like relaxation exercises, and specific therapies depending on the assessment, medication may also be prescribed depending on your clinical condition. In short I can assure you that seeking help will be your first step to regaining health and your confidence back. In the meanwhile you can undertake few steps to help you which are enumerated below- 1. Daily exercise and walk 2. Healthy diet and sleeping habits 3. Talking to family and friends 4. Avoid use of excess caffeine and alcohol 5. Meditation and yoga may benefit you 6. Most importantly do not lose heart and your confidence, remember help is available if you seek it. Hope this helps you..
