Anxiety, Nausea and Upset stomach
I m a 28 yrs old married woman...From past 8 months whenever I get stressed over something I start feeling anxious...I feel strong sense of Nausea , bloating and loosemotions as well...My heart start beating fast whenever I feel stressed...I also get a feeling of shivering in my hands and legs ...I feel dizziness, and headache and pain in stomach, eyes, neck nd back especially lower back...I am a sensitive person by nature...It's really difficult for me to control my emotions...I got an outburst of emotions followed by anxiety,nausea and Upset stomach...It is now interfering in my daily life activities...It's difficult for me to focus on any other work because of these symptoms nd these symptoms persists for many days ...Infact I feel bloating in my stomach all the time...I also have a loss of appetite...Please help

Hello there. Sorry to hear of your difficulties. What you have described is consistent with an anxiety disorder. Nevertheless it would be good to have a general evaluation to rule out any other problems like thyroid dysfunction, diabetic status, etc. You could consult with a psychiatrist as part of your anxiety evaluation and your doctor could very well look into this too for you. With regards to treatment there is definitely some role for medications to help you keeping the nature of symptoms in mind and also since you pointed out that your symptoms are affecting your daily routine. But psychotherapy will be important too, both to deal with the anxiety symptoms as well as your personality issues. Best wishes.
