I am an 18-year-old male. I have been suffering from anxiety for around 3 years.
In the last 2–3 months, I have improved around 30–40% with lifestyle changes like daily exercise, walking, sunlight and breathing exercises.
The improvement is mainly in reduced intensity of symptoms — overthinking has reduced, restlessness is less than before, panic attacks are now rare, and sleep has slightly improved (sleep comes late but does come).
Current symptoms: anxiety, restlessness, DP/DR (disconnected/unreal feeling), brain fog, intrusive thoughts, lot of fear without reason, social anxiety, light-headedness, dizziness sometimes, chest tightness, palpitations, weak concentration, sleep issues (late and not deep), no motivation and no excitement.
Panic attacks are now rare (0–1 per week).
I also notice that symptoms spike when I use the phone excessively, skip physical activity, .
Lifestyle changes helped, but symptoms are still affecting my life.
