I have had a breakup 6 months ago. Got dumped. Also i am not getting a job. With everything, i stay a lot depressed, have bad dreams and also have anxiety attacks. Please Suggest medical help. I am male, 24 years.

Thank you for asking. I can understand the distress you are through. You are going through ans adjustment phase because of recent breakup. It will take time for it to get resolved. May be few weeks. If the symptoms have caused difficulties in you daily functioning and work, etc medications can be needed. With suitable medications and instructions, it can be completely resolved.

Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.
