Hi, it could be very hard to manage yourself when anxiety hits all of a sudden! If you learn to identify what your situational and cognitive triggers are and how your mind and body reacts to those triggers, you will be able to learn how to not just manage it but also catch signs and signals that your body gives before a full blown panic attack happens to take corrective actions.
Next Steps
reach out to a practitioner who makes you feel comfortable and takes an approach that's inline with your preferred style and pace of working with emotions.

Presence of anxiety and panic may have many different reasons behind them. They can be physical or mental, or even a combination of both. Episodes of anxiety and panic may not have any standard pattern and causes. With this, I would suggest you to get your conditions and predisposing factors assessed by a psychologist so that the condition is addressed appropriately, suiting your specific situations. If you get advice from your psychologist to consult a psychiatrist and even get medications if necessary, please do not hesitate in accepting such advice and doing so.

Hi.. Deep breathing or any other breathing exercise on regular basis, along with any physical exercise/sport may help you to reduce your anxiety to some extent. But ultimately the root of your anxiety/panic needs to be identified and addressed. Depending upon the frequency and intensity of your panic attacks, medications may or may not be prescribed. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is something that has shown consistent result in helping individuals overcome their anxiety/panic.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist first and a Psychiatrist later. CBT along with Lifestyle Changes and Interpersonal Guidance and Counselling is required.
