Anxiety and overthinking
Hello, Recently I've been feeling anxious a lot, constantly scared, overthinking past mistakes, unable to forgive myself, constantly crying about what will happen next. Because of overthinking I've make some bad decisions in last couple of days which has led to a lot of people ignoring to even talk to me lately. I'm scared i might do something that would ruin all my friendships( not sure if i even have any left) I think loneliness is the root cause of what is happening, somehow i feel the presure to get close to someone and that makes them think I'm creepy. I don't know if i need a therapy or i should consult a psychiatrist. Please help.

Hello I can only feel how distressing it must be to feel so lonely. First you have to understand that we all are humans and "a human is to err", and feeling guilty is also a thing which makes us human BUT feeling overly guilty for past mistakes isn't a rational thing. Let go of the guilty conscience first. Second to actually understand what's happening with you and why you are feeling so anxious, you need a proper evaluation. So consult a psychiatrist first so that a proper treatment can be decided for you and need for psychological help also looked for.

It wouldn't hurt to reach out to a therapist or even a psychiatrist to gain clarity on what's been happening, especially if it's a recent issue. It's definitely worthwhile to reach out for help
