From the images, it appears to be a small tissue tag or swelling near the anal opening. Such lesions are often benign and can be seen with conditions like a sentinel skin tag (commonly associated with a healed anal fissure) or an external hemorrhoid, but a definite diagnosis cannot be made from photographs alone.
If you do not have pain, bleeding, discharge, rapid increase in size, or persistent swelling, it is usually not an emergency. However, if the swelling is painful, bleeds frequently, or is increasing in size, you should consult a general surgeon for a physical examination. They may perform a simple examination or proctoscopy if needed.
In the meantime:
* Avoid constipation by eating a high-fiber diet and drinking plenty of water.
* Avoid straining during bowel movements.
* Maintain good local hygiene.
* Warm sitz baths may help if there is discomfort.
A clinical examination is the best way to determine whether no treatment is needed or whether any minor procedure is indicated.
