Ankle spain
I twisted my ankle last sunday causing ankle sprain. i had some home remedies work on it and it reduces the swelling little bit and make the pain go away but even if there is no pain and have normal movement of ankle the swelling of lateral ankle won't go away. wht shud i do? is it the scar tissues which causing swelling? and also it does't hurt unless push too hard on swollen surface.

U would require to undergo manual therapy session ,from a physiotherapist specialized in mulligan therapy .

Ice is best option to reduce swelling. Apply it 3-4 times a day for 10 min.

Greetings. Sorry about your sprain. Any ligament impact (sprain) takes time to heal depending on grade. Do not weight bear on ankle (do not walk on that ankle or use crutches instead).  Have foot elevated for couple of days. All the above will help in recovery and do remember sprains will take couple of weeks to heal.
