You’re likely experiencing recurrent acute anal fissure, which often recurs due to minor trauma from hard stools or incomplete healing of the inner layers of the mucosa. Since it’s not chronic and responds well to Ayurvedic treatments, prevention and maintenance are key.
Next Steps
• Continue taking Lax powder or consider Triphala churna at bedtime with warm water or milk. • Add ghee to your diet — 1 tsp with warm milk at night can help soften stools naturally. • Eat a high-fiber diet: fruits (papaya, banana, soaked raisins), vegetables, and whole grains. • Stay hydrated — drink at least 8–10 glasses of water daily.
Health Tips
• Do not delay the urge to pass stool. • Avoid straining; use a small footstool to mimic a squatting position. • Don’t sit on the toilet for prolonged periods. • Practice pranayama (e.g. Anulom Vilom) to reduce stress, which indirectly affects digestion and bowel movements. If the fissure continues to recur frequently or becomes chronic, do consult in person. In such cases, ksharasutra therapy or a minimally invasive procedure might be considered if conservative measures fail. Let me know if you’d like to schedule a personalized Ayurvedic plan or treatment.

Thanks for the detailed explanation — it helps a lot. Based on what you’ve shared, you’re dealing with recurrent acute anal fissure, not chronic (no skin tag or sentinel pile), which is a common but frustrating issue, especially when it recurs every few months. You’ve already taken good steps: Ayurvedic treatments like taila basti (tailapoorna), pichu, and laxatives, which likely helped the healing. The goal now is permanent prevention — to stop the recurrence and support complete tissue healing. ✅ Understanding Why It's Recurring Recurrent fissures typically happen because of: Mild but repeated constipation or hard stools. Incomplete healing — the skin may look fine but isn't fully restored. Improper diet or hydration. Stress or irregular bowel habits. Skipping laxatives too early or stopping internal oil support too soon. 🔁 Strategy to Avoid Recurrence Permanently 1. 🌿 Ayurvedic Internal Support (3–6 months) Use gentle, srotoshodhana (cleansing) + vrana-ropana (healing) medicines consult us personally for medicines Avoid stopping these too early — continue at least 3 months after last fissure heals. 2. 🛢️ Local Application (Pichu/Taila) To heal micro-tears and soothe the anal canal: consult us personally for medicines 3. 🥗 Diet Changes (Absolutely Key) Increase soluble fiber: Isabgol (psyllium husk), oats, fruits like papaya, figs, soaked raisins. Avoid: Dry foods, spicy foods, fried items, tea/coffee, maida, and late meals. Water: 2.5–3 liters daily. Morning routine: Soaked raisins (6–8) + 2 dry figs in warm water overnight — eat on an empty stomach. Follow with a tsp of Sukumara Ghrita and warm water. 4. 🚽 Bowel Habits Never delay the urge to defecate. Sit in squatting posture (use a small stool under your feet if on a western toilet). Try to poop at the same time daily (ideally early morning). After passing stool, use warm water wash, and gently pat dry — avoid toilet paper rubbing. 5. 🧘‍♂️ Lifestyle Daily light walk or yoga (20–30 mins) — helps gut motility. Avoid sitting continuously — especially on cold floors or hard chairs. Reduce stress — anxiety worsens constipation. 🚫 Avoid Overuse of laxatives — build natural bowel rhythm. Sitting for long after bowel movement (esp. phone scrolling). Skipping internal oiling — healing becomes incomplete. If you're interested, I can make you a simple daily schedule (Morning to Night) customized for fissure recovery and prevention. Would you like that? Advice- self medication is hazardous consult us before taking any medication.

"Your fissure is recurrent due to mild constipation or strain—even small tears cause burning. You’ve managed it well with tailapoorna and pichu, but recurrence means healing isn’t complete. Avoid spicy food, dry stool, and long sitting. Continue mild laxative till gut fully balances. Eat fiber-rich warm food, hydrate well, and never ignore the urge to pass stool. For permanent healing, we must correct Apana Vata and strengthen rectal tissues. Consult me—we’ll personalize the healing to stop recurrence naturally."
