I am 24 years old female, I have anal fissure due to anal insertion not due to constipation. I have been suggested by general surgeon to eat high fibre food and lots of water,15 ml stool softener every day. Can I eat plain roti with vegetables with no gravy?
I have been eating only two small spoon rices with lots of yellow dal and curd, dosa chutney all day, and nothing else.
Please guide me, if i can atleast eat plain roti with veggies? if yes how much roti per day wouldn't cause problem to my anal fissure?

Anal fissure is a tear in the lining of the anus. One symptom of anal fissure is pain during or after bowel movement. You can easily combat with your diet and lifestyle changes.
And yes, you can eat 1-2 per meal wheat and multigrain roti instead plain roti with lots of veggies in the form of sabzi/salad,which are rich in insoluble fibre which helps with digestion and regulates healthy bowel movements.
You can try oats and wheat chapatti instead of plain wheat chapatti. 1-2 per meal (lunch/dinner) maybe taken.
