Pet dog wound
Generally while playing with pet dog it get provoked and bite me on hand its age is 4 month and have one rabies vaccination till date and it did not get in connect with outer or street dogs and always a indoor dog . So do I need to get rabies vaccination as I got rabies vaccination full course in September 2024 ?

In such cases, if another bite occurs later, you usually do not need the full course again. Instead, only 2 booster doses (Day 0 and Day 3) are recommended as per rabies post-exposure guidelines.
In your situation, the risk is very low because:
• The dog is a 4-month-old indoor pet.
• It already received one rabies vaccination.
• It has no contact with street or stray animals.
If the bite is very minor (no bleeding or just superficial scratch) and the dog remains healthy for the next 10 days, vaccination may not be necessary. However, if there was bleeding or a deeper bite, it is safer to take 2 booster doses.

• Immediately wash the wound thoroughly with soap and running water for at least 15 minutes.
• Apply an antiseptic like povidone-iodine.
• Observe the dog for 10 days. If the dog stays healthy and active, rabies risk is extremely low.
• If the wound had bleeding or puncture marks, take 2 booster doses of rabies vaccine (Day 0 and Day 3).
• You do NOT need Rabies Immunoglobulin (RIG) because you were already vaccinated earlier.
