Been experiencing extremely severe mood swings. Being paranoid always. Test people whether they Il abandon me or not. Constantly need reassurance from some certain people. Having very much distorted self image. One moment I am the most loving person you ll see and the other moment I behave brutally when i am triggered. Like if I feel ignored or unloved or not heard. I tend to self harm for controlling my anger attacks. It's like there another person inside me speaking to me and provoking me for such things. I feel like nobody loves me, everybody II abandon me at some point of time. I am 24 years old. I want to get diagnosed for the above mentioned symptoms. I am suffering so much in my daily life for these symptoms. Even I am having severe mental fog due to which I am unable too m to learn or read something properly I can't retain whatever I am studying.

This seems like extreme anxiety and a very low self-confidence and self-worth. Maybe its stems out of some past bad experiences or in your childhood. You need to talk about it. You are just 24 and you have a life to live, so it’s better to one of these negative thoughts and fight these negative emotions and learn to adapt to healthy ways of living, which will help you forever in your life. Your symptoms sound distressing and you need to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan in place. I recommend scheduling an appointment with a psychiatrist for a thorough evaluation and diagnosis. This will help you understand what is happening and guide the appropriate treatment, which most likely will include both medication and therapy. In the meantime, you can start practicing anxiety-reducing exercises like box breathing and the 4-7-8 technique to help manage your symptoms. Additionally, try writing down your feelings and thoughts in the notes app on your phone when you start to feel angry or triggered. You'll gain more control over your emotions and reactions. At Mind Sculpt, we offer online therapy sessions, and we're currently offering discounted rates in celebration of our anniversary. You can book an appointment with me or one of our therapists to start working on managing your symptoms and improving your quality of life.

Acknowledgement of any problem is the most significant step towards solving it. You have acknowledged (and identified) the basics of your mental health conditions and that holds the key to your recovery. The next logical step for you is to consult a well-experienced psychiatrist, get yourself diagnosed and start some medication (if advised). This will bring back a lot of normalcy in your condition, provided you follow the line of treatment as suggested by the doctor. As you start feeling better, please consult a psychologist for guidance on how to manage your mental health in the long term. I would like to caution you against the urge to avoid approaching a psychiatrist, discontinue treatment, avoid medicines etc. because these are situations that arise in the cases of the majority of mental health treatments.
Next Steps
Please consult a psychiatrist followed by a psychologist.
