Don’t give anti diarrhoeals..correct dehydration by giving ors.if severe and not controlled take him to the hospital and consult the cardiologist and check serum electrolytes ,creatinine etc. and if necessary the doctor might suggest Iv fluids after checking all the parameters

1/3 of food plate should contain bread ( or 4 roti ), pasta, potato and rice.
1/3 of food plate should contain fruits and vegetables.
1/9 of food plate should contain fish, meat, egg, beans and other non dairy sources of protein.
1/9 of food plate should contain milk and dairy foods.
1/9 of food plate should contain food and drink high in fat and/ or sugar.

Start ORS in small, frequent sips and continue his prescribed heart medicines; do not stop aspirin or other antiplatelets. Blood in stool, fever, repeated vomiting, severe weakness, dizziness or reduced urine needs urgent care.
