Flaxseed should be taken 1-2 tsp with water in the morning. Taking water in which flaxseed was soaked will not help much.
You can also take roasted flaxseed with water. These seeds are a good source of omega 3 fatty acids and fibre so good for high cholesterol levels but we can't expect weight loss by just taking flaxseed. A balanced diet with 5 meal pattern, regular exercise and taking lot of liquids is more important for weight loss. Also cut down extra carbs, sugars and oil from your diet.
