Its an folliculitis most probably or maybe an ingrown hair which is common! Its reddish is colour which indicates it has inflammatory issues too!! It is usually due to staph group of bacterias nd usually harmless untill it has some pus point coming from it!

best is to prophylactically start antibiotics along with maintaining the area with proper hygiene! and try to have anti inflammatory drugs after consulting nearby physician. take care
