Better to monitor BP daily twice for 4 5 days and then the other group can be suggested as per BP

Please don't change your medicine for Hypertension so soon (unless you are allergic to it) . And your Doctor is the best person to answer your question. I don't want to be in the centre of a controversy. Surely, based on my advice you are not going to change your medicine. You will go to your Doctor to tell him that he was wrong.

It is important to choose antihypertensive therapy that is tailored to your specific health profile while minimizing side effects. Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, can sometimes lead to a mild increase in heart rate as a reflex response to peripheral vasodilation. Considering your current blood pressure readings (125-130/85-90), it may be appropriate to explore non-pharmacological approaches that support blood pressure control, such as: -Dietary ModificationsAdopt a DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy, while reducing sodium intake. - Physical Activity Engage in regular aerobic exercise, such as brisk walking, for at least 30 minutes most days of the week. - Stress Management Incorporate stress-reducing techniques like mindfulness, yoga, or meditation. - Lifestyle Adjustments: Ensure a healthy weight, avoid excessive alcohol intake, and refrain from smoking. It would be beneficial to discuss with your healthcare provider the potential of modifying your current treatment approach or considering combination therapies with agents that complement your current regimen, while avoiding significant heart rate changes. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate remains essential to guide further management.
