Am I stressed?
I have noticed my face is getting smaller even though my weight is the same. I have been underweight from ages however my face was not skinny at all. Since 6-7 months I have started noticing this change in my face. Some areas of my hair is also greying. I am not sure if this is because of stress. I am normally fine but can't deny job related stress that I am facing since lockdown and I think this is more because I can't express my emotions sometimes, I fear of people thinking I am a bad person. Am I getting more stressed because I didn't take it out? Also is stress really the reason of changes in face? Please help.

Hey dear. There is a lot of research that tells us how stress has a negative impact on our physical and mental health. One of my favourite quotes is " Sorrow that has no vent in tears, make other organs weep". It's true stress brings about changed in our hormonal balance, neurotransmitters and various activities throughout our body which can fire up allergies, skin concerns inflammatory responses, auto.immune conditions, stomach concerns and what not. However, it would be hard to pin pin point to the cause of what you are experiencing to stress alone. Speak to a physician first and they would be able to tell you after a complete examination.  However please do invest time in self care for your overall well-being. Fears of being judged by others, of being loved and accepted can hold us back from living a truly happy life.
