Giving steroids on local sight might give you temperory effects but maynot be a permanant solution. It is a problem coused by inner disturbances and hence should be treated internally. Homoeopathy provides great results in such conditions. Also considering age of patient (13 yrs) Homoeopathy would be best possible option for him as it doesnot has any side effects a also provides you a permanant solution

Alopecia areata is patchy loss of hair. The cause is yet not known but it is seen in many adults and kids. Stress can be one of the reason. No use of taking steroids because it will be temporary.
