Greetings - I guess u are talking of alopecia areata in the beard area - this usually starts off as well circumscribed spots of baldness and is an autoimmune condition. This is treatable and controllable. You'll require multiple sessions of intra-lesional injections and regular use of creams and lotions till regrowth of hair is seen. See a qualified dermatologist near you. Warm regards, Dr Govind Suresh Mittal. Bengaluru.
