Allergy with cetrizine
Four years ago I found that when I used a cetrizine I got skin redness and burning sensation heavily on my left feet, left hand 3 fingers and right hand 2 fingers.
After that one year ago I used cetrizine again for cold the same allergy happened at the same places no changes. No allergy in another area. Few days back I used Atrax 5 mg I got same redness and same places.
So doctor now prescribed levocetrizine. In levocetrinzine also same cetrizine name is there. I am fearing of getting same allergy. Please advise is levo cetrizine and cetrizine same.

There is a very slight difference between Cetrizine and Levocetrizine. The main thing is that you are showing an allergic response to a medicine which is supposed to be antiallergic.
