It's generally not recommended to chew food with aligners in your mouth, especially during the initial stages of wearing them. Here's why: Hygiene: Chewing food with aligners in can increase the risk of food particles getting trapped between the aligners and your teeth. This can lead to hygiene issues and potentially increase the chances of tooth decay. Aligner Integrity: Chewing hard or sticky foods can put extra pressure on the aligners and affect their integrity. Aligners are designed to fit snugly on your teeth and guide them into the correct position. Chewing with aligners in could distort their shape or cause them to crack. Discomfort: Chewing with aligners may cause discomfort or pain, especially if you're not used to the feeling of aligners in your mouth while eating. Efficiency: Aligners work best when they're properly worn for the recommended amount of time. Removing them to eat allows you to clean your teeth and aligners effectively, which is important for maintaining oral health during treatment. Your dentist may have specific reasons for suggesting starting to eat with aligners after a certain period. It's essential to follow their guidance closely. If you have concerns or questions, it's a good idea to discuss them with your dentist to get a clear understanding of their recommendations and the potential impact on your treatment.

Chewing with aligners is not correct. The heat can warp the aligner material and the food colour will discolor the transparency affecting the efficiency and esthetic of aligner. While eating remove aligners.

Chewing with aligners are not recommended it will hamper your treatment process & can break your aligners too. You can only drink water with aligners , remove your aligners whenever you eat , after eating gargle & wash properly then wear your aligners.
