Hi there. The reason you've developed type2 diabetes is- high sugars and high insulin levels. Long & painful periods can happen during initial periods of Mirena insertion (usually in 3-6 months) and after 1 year it reduces, but only after knowing how long and intensity of pains, I can tell if these are abnormal or normal periods post-insertion. There are many reasons for endometrial thickness like ectopic pregnancy, less than 5-week pregnancy, hormonal imbalance (increase estrogens), obesity, diabetes and as dangerous as endometrial hyperplasia and cancer. Only after careful evaluation, I can tell you the exact cause of increased endometrium thickness. Metformine is being prescribed for your diabetes and PCOS problem, as this controls/decreases the blood sugar levels. But, no medicine can ever cure diabetes or PCOS, in-fact these worsen diabetes and PCOS because all these sugars which go out of blood enter into the cells (majorly of kidney, heart, eye, and nerve), and that's why diabetes is the biggest cause of kidney failure, heart attack, eye blindness, and even cancer. I have over 8 years of experience in CURING (not just managing blood sugar levels) Diabetes, PCOS and Obesity of thousands of patients by our specific modules. Aldactone can be prescribed for high B.P or for hirsutism (excess hair growth). In your case it's preferred to reduce the unwanted hair, the reason for this is Aldactone acts as anti-androgen (ie; anti-male hormone) causing a reduction in unwanted hair growth and preventing hair-line receding. But this also is NOT-THE-RIGHT approach to treat because unless and until your internal hormonal disturbances don't get corrected, you'll never be able to see the ever-lasting change in your body and these problems will just get solved temporarily and will come back putting your health into serious & dreaded complications. Also, why Aldactone is very harmful to you, and you should stop it immediately is because of it's severe side effects: - increased menstrual flow - nausea, headache, electrolyte imbalance - stomach bleeding - breast swelliong and tenderness - it's active metabolite is excreted into breast milk

In order to correct your hormones and get freedom from all the serious complications you've developed, you can discuss my module and methodology in detail

First pcos would be something that was probably diagnosed before pregnancy. Have u been diagnosed with PCOS after the birth of your child?? Metformin 500 can be taken safely if you are prediabetic even if u are breast feeding. But I'm afraid aldactone is not advisable for breast feeding moms.
