Hi.. my mother in law is having 350 above sugar after eating... She recoverd from covid 2 months back... She is on medication for blood sugar but still high blood sugar .. it's high from last one month. . But there r no symptoms... What happen if it's is left untreated...

High sugar compromises immunity in short term making her prone to infections, and delays wound healing. Long term high glucose levels increase risk of heart disease, stroke, seizure, kidney failure, eye and nerve damage. Therefore stricter glucose control is recommended, diet changes along with changes in medication will be necessary
