Thank you for sharing the photo and detailed update. The dark red patch after gum bleeding sounds like a small localized hematoma (blood trapped under the gum) or gingival inflammation. Since the redness is slowly reducing, it suggests that healing is underway — but it’s wise not to ignore it. ✅ Most likely causes: Gum injury while brushing or eating Plaque or tartar buildup causing inflammation Minor bleeding under the gum forming a small clot Poor oral hygiene in that area
Next Steps
🔹 Visit a dentist for scaling (cleaning) — especially if there’s visible tartar 🔹 Use a soft-bristled brush and gentle circular motions 🔹 Rinse with warm salt water 2–3 times daily to reduce swelling 🔹 Consider using chlorhexidine mouthwash for 5–7 days (under supervision) 🔹 Avoid biting into hard foods on that side temporarily
Health Tips
Seek attention if: Redness starts spreading Pain, swelling, or pus appears Bleeding happens frequently Healing is slow in some gum cases, but with the right care, it will settle completely. Prevention is key — regular dental cleaning and gentle brushing help avoid such issues in the future.

Hello sir, From the photograph, it looks like you have generalized gingival inflammation (because of calculus) though I am able to see only 7-8 teeth. You need proper deep scaling (cleaning of the teeth)  along with some topical or oral medicines. Proper history is also important.
Next Steps
visit the clinic.

The dark redness in the gum after bleeding may be due to localized gingival inflammation or a small hematoma (blood accumulation under the tissue). Since the redness is gradually reducing, it indicates healing. However, persistent inflammation could be due to plaque or tartar accumulation, trauma from brushing, or food lodgment.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist for a clinical examination and professional cleaning (scaling), if needed. Also, follow a gentle brushing technique using a soft-bristled toothbrush and maintain oral hygiene with twice-daily brushing and daily rinsing with an antibacterial mouthwash like chlorhexidine (for a short term under dentist supervision).
Health Tips
Avoid picking or brushing harshly over the affected area. If swelling, pain, or pus develops, seek immediate care. Regular dental checkups every 6 months help prevent such issues.

Hi! The gum redness looks like inflammation, possibly due to plaque or tartar. Visit a dentist for cleaning (scaling). If needed, an X-ray (IOPA) can be done to rule out deeper issues!

Hello This swelling or redness might be due to inflammation in the gums It is advisable to get cleaning done so that if any tartar/calculus deposition is there it will be cleared Since the redness is reducing it is healing but it will be better to visit your nearest dentist and it cleaned to avoid such episode in future again
