After Ankle surgery swelling

I had two screws permanently put in my ankle about 5 months back. Is it common for my leg to swell at times.

Hello sir You have not specified where in the ankle screw were put and for what reason But as far as your question of mild swelling over ankle is common and increase on exertion and decrease on rest But if it pains then you need to get evaluated by an doctor near you
