Hi, Your neck pain and stiffness could be due trapezius muscle spasm. To find the exact cause your posture needs to be evaluated. 1. What position you sit in and for how many hours ? 2. How is the position of your neck while doing that? 3. Are your arms supported properly while working? 4. What kind of work do you do? 5. What kind of pillow you use ? 6. In what position you sleep at night. You should get the pain evaluated and treated by a Orthopaedic doctor or Physiotherapist. Follow proper posture and exercises, it will prevent reoccurrence and strengthen your muscles.
Next Steps
You need to get yourself evaluated and work on reducing the pain first. You should do only gentle neck movements for now. once your pain reduces you should start doing stretching and strengthening exercises.
Health Tips
1. Apply ice packs for 10-15 minutes on the painful area 2-3 times a day. 2. No hot water as you are in acute pain and it  can aggravate your spasm and pain. 3. Avoid bending your neck for long hours. 4. Take frequent breaks. 5. Do gentle neck movements. 6. Don't lift heavy objects. Thank you.

Hello dear First of all 2 weeks neck pain at your age is definitely not due to cervical spondylosis as many might say. It is possibly due to a trapezial strain in view of dyskinetic scapula and rotator cuff weakness due to long standing nutritional deficiencies. I need more information in order to confirm: 1. Have you had similar neck pains previously? 2. Does the pain radiates to shoulder and area between the two shoulder blades? 3. Does the pain get worse at night? 4. Do you get any tingling or numbness in the hands? 5. Does the pain get worse by lifting the arm above shoulder? 6. Has your neck got tilted to one side? 7. Do you have additional symptoms like hair fall, acidity, fatigue, cramps, dizziness and weak memory? 8. Have you had any blood tests recently? If yes i need to see the reports. Regards Dr Vipin Gupta

Your neck stiffness and back pain could be due to muscle spasm. Do you have any previous history of neck or back pain? Did you change your pillow or mattress recently?
Next Steps
You should give hot water fomentation for your neck for 15-20 minutes twice a day for a week. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic. You should do neck stretching and strengthening exercises with proper guidance. Avoid Prolonged neck bending activities. Avoid using high pillow. Avoid lying on your stomach instead you can lie on your back or sides.
Health Tips
If the pain persists or aggrevates you need to consult a Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment either in person or through video call.

Hopefully your pain is reducing. It is important to know if bending forward, backward or rotations are affected. When lying on your back make sure that your  neck is not propped up too high.  Your neck position through the might is probably the issue as pain is present in the mornings. This is due to a reduction of neck movements and irritation of your neck area muscles. To know if other structyres are involved we need more information.
Next Steps
try a thinner pillow if lying on your back But you need assessment and treatment, as your ranges are probably restricted.
Health Tips
Try using a shawl to support if not too hot.
