ACL partial tear-Anterior Cruciate Ligam
Good Morning Doctor, My brother(age 29) has Anterior Cruciate Ligament (partial)tear five years back.At that time Doctors suggested him, operation is not necessary. Till now he is walking good with the partial tear, but last week he got the back pain while playing & he fell down, his knee is swelling & cannot able to walk we took him to hospital for MRI scan, after seeing reports doctor suggest better to go for operation. So, Please suggest whether to go for operation or not?

If there is pains and instability,better go for ACL reconstruction .
