Does high grade partial thickness tear of ACL require surgery or can it get healed on its own? There is evidence of focal cortical discontinuity with impaction seen in the posterior tibial plateau with adjacent bone marrow edema in the tibial condyle which appears hyperintense on T2/PDFS with small suspicious bony fragment in the adjacent posterior soft tissue plane with surrounding extensive soft tissue edema - suggestive of impaction with chip fracture of posterior tibial plateau.
High grade partial thickness tear involving anteromedial & posterolateral bundle of upper 2/3rd of anterior cruciate ligament with retraction of few fibers from its femoral attachment with small bony avulsion from the tibial eminence near the attachment of anterior cruciate ligament.
Few areas of PDFS hyperintensity seen in the upper 1/3rd & lower 1/3rd of posterior cruciate ligament. Grade II signal intensity seen in the posterior root ligament of lateral meniscus.
