One year back while playing badminton my knee got twisted and I got partial ACL tear, but then doctor suggested me for 45 days of glucose amine and caldi . And 15days of Physio. After that I was able to walk. But now it's One year and I am only able to walk , can't run or play games. As per current MRI report my ACL ligament is thin.
That's the reason I am getting pain when ever I do some heavy work or lift some weight.
Please suggest how can I thicken or strengthen my ACL ligament, so that I can be normal again?

In my opinion u need to strengthen your muscles around the knee as we can't do anything much at the ligament level... you can do isometric quadriceps ,hamstring curls, vmo stretching and strengthening piriformis stretch , gastrocnemius and soleus strengthening...with cold fermentation...

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.
Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.
Hi there I understand your concern and anxiety....try hamstring strengthening exercises and take over the counter pain medications...avoid squatting, crossed legged sitting, playing strenuous sports or activities...if no improvements you should get examined by arthroscopic surgeon they will help you further...Regards.
ACL reconstruction can be done if you want to go back to running and playing games means heavy load on knee and ligaments.
Another option is strengthening your core knee muscles which can help to support your knee , in this case you have to be patient and gradually increasing your exercises.
