Acl and minuscus tear
Hi doctors, I have acl and minuscus.i have attached report to it. What is good for surgery or physiotherapy? Does it heal by physiotherapy? Consulted two orthopaedic in Pune.both suggested me a surgery. Need your valuable suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hi.. my opinion is only in my aspect of view. Please don't decide on my opinion.. you need to decide for yourself..    I saw your mri reports .. you have significant anterior translation of tibia and grade 2 signal in body meniscus.. I would suggest surgery is better option. Once done surgery you can start physiotherapy. Take care. Get well soon

Yes.. you should go for surgery.. it’s a grade 2 tear which require surgical help. After surgery go for physiotherapy treatment

Yes you should get it operated. Physiotherapy will not heal the tears. But yes if you have a sedentary lifestyle u can avoid surgery and continue with physiotherapy. Degenerative process can be delayed with exercise but not stopped.
