Sour, Salty, & Spicy items/Food increases Acidity (Pitta). Oily, Sweet, watery items can also if PITTA is accompanied with KAPHA in causing Acid reflux. So, try to be vigilant and note which Food items exaggerate your problem. Sedentary lifestyle, lack of proper Sleep/Stress, improper Food habits, food items not suitable for your bodytype, consuming Non-seasonal items, some Meds etc can lead to Acidity.
