Hi,
If its not healing on its own within a span of a week you should get a consultation done from a dentist. There might be some irritation factor in the mouth which is not allowing the area to heal. However if its not an ulcer and a nodule a small excisional procedure will do. As the picture is not clear its difficult to make out if its an ulcer or a nodule. Please do refer to a dentist

**stress and anxiety
**vitamin B 12 deficiency
**viral infection
**Iron deficiency anemia
**Genetic factors
**Gastric disturances(GERD)
