Above and side of knee pain
Would you please let me know what exact MRI should I take for the pain above and to the side of my knee? I took an xray and everything seems fine as per radiologist. I want to get an MRI done but I'm not sure if the test name. Thank you!

MRI is a diagnostic tool. Not the treatment. Don't be in a hurry. Consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon first. Try Physio. Insufficient information about your pain given. It might just be a weakness of quadriceps/ vastus muscles.
Next Steps
Orthopedic Consultation.
