When the baby is more than 2500 gm bath can be given with lukewarm water a quick bath.Talcum powder and Kajal to eyes is not recommended. Talcum powder application inhalation while breathing can cause respiratory difficulties. Commercially available Kajal and shared Kajal can cause infections and poisoning.

Yes, you can give a normal bath and use a mild baby cream if the skin is dry.
applying kajal, as it may irritate the eyes and is not beneficial. Can apply on forehead a little
Avoid using powder on the face or near the nose, as babies can inhale it.
