About fever
Hi doc, My Baby is 7 months old . Suddenly he got fever 101.5 . I have given calpol drops as per doctor ok prescription. Two time fever came. I have been given the same medicine. Shall I consult a pediatrician if fever comes again or repeat the dose. Please suggest

As highgrade fever, continue giving paracetamol drops and consult pediatrician if fever not subsiding with oral medication

Please consult a paediatrician. Children under 2 yrs especially in first year of life, always better to see a specialist.
Health Tips
Record the time and degree of fever. It will help the doctor know about your child’s condition. Ensure feeding regularly. Calpol should ideally be repeated after 6 hrs. In some cases we can give after 4 hrs but that should always be done after doctor’s consultation.
