About chewable tablets
I have a very low vitamin d of 8.2 ng/ml. Doctor prescribed D3 must 60k to be taken weekly once, total of 8 doses. In the packaging it says, chewable tablets. But the doctor or the pharmacist didn't say anything so I swallowed. Is it okay to continue swallowing?

Better if chewable. If u want one that can be swallowed, take D Rise Capsule 60000 units after a heavy meal once a week for 8 weeks.

Your vitamin D level of 8.2 ng/ml is significantly low, so the weekly D3 60,000 IU course is the standard first step. Chewable tablets are formulated mainly for better absorption and ease of use but swallowing one by mistake is not harmful. It will still get absorbed, just not as efficiently as intended. To guide you correctly for the rest of the course, I need to understand: whether you’re taking it with meals any acidity/GERD medicines you’re on (they can reduce absorption) whether you have symptoms like fatigue, bone pain, muscle aches whether calcium supplementation is needed in your case your sun-exposure pattern any digestive issues that may reduce D-absorption These factors decide how long you should continue and whether we need to correct anything in your routine. If you want accurate guidance for your case Vitamin D correction is not just about taking 60k weekly your absorption, dosing schedule, and correction plan need to be customised after reviewing your routine and existing medications. You can book a private consultation with me on whatsapp at Nine Three Two Six Zero Two Zero Five Three Six for a proper step-by-step plan so that your levels actually normalise and stay stable long-term.

Yes, it’s absolutely okay to swallow D3 Must 60k. Chewable tablets can be swallowed whole if you prefer — they work the same. Just take one tablet weekly as prescribed.
