Greetings
body temperature of 97.1°F (36.2°C) is slightly below the normal infant range of 97.7°F to 99.5°F, which may indicate your baby is too cold. You should dress them in an extra layer, use skin-to-skin contact, and recheck their temperature in 30 to 60 minutes. Supplements of expressed milk are often continued until a premature baby shows consistent weight gain and strong feeding stamina, a milestone your pediatrician must confirm. For bathing, it is generally recommended to wait until the baby’s temperature is stable and their umbilical cord stump has fallen off. Since premature infants are more sensitive to temperature drops, limit baths to two or three times a week using warm water in a draft-free room
If the baby is taking direct breastfeeding adequate for about 15 mins and baby sleeps for 2 hours with passing urine and stools you can stop expressed breast milk and baby temperature is normal and you can give bath to your baby
