Tuberculosis drugs per se do not cause weight loss.. if you don’t have vomiting or yellowish discolouration of urine then continue TB treatment

Weight loss during TB treatment is common. Rifampicin and TB disease both cause weight loss. With intermediate rifampicin resistance, your treatment is more complex. This needs close monitoring by your TB specialist.
Next Steps
Never stop TB medications without doctor's advice. Rifampicin resistance requires specialized treatment. Weight loss is expected but severe loss needs immediate attention. Stay in close contact with your TB specialist.
Health Tips
Continue ATT as prescribed by your doctor Focus on high-protein, high-calorie diet Monitor weight weekly Report to TB specialist if weight loss continues Get liver function tests done regularly Ensure adequate rest

Hello, In my opinion, TB itself causes alot of weight loss as you feel sick and appetite kind of decreases . Please focus on good nutrition, involve nutritionist's help if needed. Feel free to reach out if you have any more queries. Take care .

Weight loss is due to underlying infection rather than due to ATT, what ATT you are taking now , FDC or is rifampicin resistance rechecked to confirm resistance
