A little Melasma on face
Hi Doctors, my sister has been facing the problem of melasma on her face and its been around 5 months now (though there are 3 patches on her face of size less than 1 paisa coin). She has been trying some home remedies (Dadi ma ke nuskhe) but those are not working indeed. She is unmarried and stays at home. She is 27 and about to get married soon, please advise.

Before melasma treatment you need to learn basic skin care regimens.  Sun damage or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation may the cause of the problem. Solutions range from simple skin care to advanced lasers. Following article may help you with skin care https://essencecosmeticsurgery.com/2020/02/22/skin-care-overview/

Homemade face masks can worsen the pigmentation and also other allergic reactions can occur. Best is to have a detailed consultation online or best in person
