High amounts of bad cholesterol indicate a higher range of VLDL in the blood parameters. I need to see the reports so that a personalised diet plan can be given to your father. In this cas Biriyani, Fried Rice is a big no. If you want to make him have chilli chicken it should be 100% home made with less amount of oil and sauces.. Avoid out side food as far as possible. Bad cholestrol can be controlled when you have higher amount of good cholestrol in the blood. Cod liver oil, big fishes, salmon, walnut, flaxeed etc are good for cholestrol. Lean poultry meat can also be taken. Min 20min walk should be there in the regime.

for a personalised diet plan, you may contact me personally. Dietitian Souvik Chakraborty
