Due to small cut on testicles while trimming. The wound got bigger and bigger with yellow color substance coming on it. Used antibiotics like Azithromycin 500 for 2 days 1 tablet a day and then shifted to Amoxicillin 500 for past 2 days 1 tablet a day. Used ketoconazole ointment in the nights only.

The wound is worsening because the antibiotic coverage isn't right for a skin infection and ketoconazole is antifungal â it won't help here. Stop ketoconazole. Clean wound with betadine twice daily, apply mupirocin (Bactroban) ointment and cover with clean gauze. For antibiotics, switch to cloxacillin 500mg four times daily or see a doctor for a wound swab. If you develop fever or wound spreads rapidly, go to ER immediately.
