36th week going on, Mild placenta insuff
Pregnancy - 36 th week going. Doppler Ultrasound test results - Mild Placenta Insufficiency. Umb Art flow >1.8 maintained CPR=3rd Percentile<5 is abnormal. We are worried about this as doc is concerned. Doc advise - to induce in 37th week and deliver vaginal. Question - as major parts like brain, lungs,Lever develop in 37-38-39 weeks, will this affect baby in long term or its growth? Please advise if we should wait untill 39th week for full growth. Is placenta insufficiency a major complication or risky? What should we do?

Get a scan repeated after one week before induction for normal delivery... plus get injection of betnesol for fetal lung maturity on a safer side.... consultant your Gynaecologist for the same...... be very cautious if your are planning for a normal' delivery in this scenario and it's your first pregnancy......
Health Tips
keep a count of your daily fetal movements.... if u don't perceive them contact your Gynaecologist immediately
