What to expect when 36 weeks pregnant?

My girlfriend is 36 weeks pregnant and we are having an ultrasound soon. I am really enthusiastic to see our little one but a tad bit anxious too! Do you know what one should expect when 36 weeks pregnant? Is my girlfriend going to have more health problems? What will be changes in our child? Can you tell me what are the risks involved at this stage? Your assistance would be really appreciated. Thank you!
