26 weeks pregnant & Cervix is 13mm
I am 26 weeks pregnant and had a cervical cerclage done in wk 21. Post surgery my cervix was 24 mm. When I went for my regular scan and check up in week 26 reports says my cervix length is 13 mm with funnelling noted. Doctor has asked me to be hospitalised for 3 months to avoid premature delivery. Please advise what should be the course of action be. Is 3 months hospitalisation necessary or can be managed at home. Please let me know the risk involved.

Its better you get hospitalized... Becaise at home at some point of time pt gets careless and dont follow the instructions 100%..if funelling is noted that means you are at risk of premature labour...
