2 weeks post surgical wisdom extraction
I have attached a picture of the area which had stitches after surgical extraction of right lower wisdom tooth. I don't know what it is that's sticking out. It's a little harder and I felt it with my tongue which is how I noticed it. Please guide as to what it is and what can be done here? Thank you

It may be a piece of bone or tooth fragment. Generally it comes out on its own. You should visit the dentist who did the extraction and get this checked out. Should be a simple enough process
Next Steps
visit the nearest Oral surgeon or specialist for a check up

Hi, it might be a bony spicule (piece) that got detached from the bone during the removal procedure.
Next Steps
You should immediately visit a dentist so that dentist will remove it and clean up the area
Health Tips
Don't delay it further because that detached bone piece might get infected and can cause severe pain.
