I have attached a picture of the area which had stitches after surgical extraction of right lower wisdom tooth. I don't know what it is that's sticking out. It's a little harder and I felt it with my tongue which is how I noticed it.
Please guide as to what it is and what can be done here? Thank you

It may be a piece of bone or tooth fragment. Generally it comes out on its own. You should visit the dentist who did the extraction and get this checked out. Should be a simple enough process
Next Steps
visit the nearest Oral surgeon or specialist for a check up
Hi,
The picture shared is not very clear. But that looks like a bony spicule. Please visit the dentist and get a examination done and get it removed if its a bony spicule.
