15 weeks pregnant with AFI < 1cm.
I went for a recent scan and revealed that i have severe oligohydramnios. Baby heartbeat is good and is measuring 15 weeks. Doctor told baby will die in a week. Right now I have increased fluid intake and on bed rest, using powdered sachets doctor gave me to increase amniotic fluid. Do I have a chance to continue my pregnancy successfully? If fluid level increases, will my baby be free of any birth defects? I have no ruptured membrane, no bp, no GD. Everything else is normal. Please help.

It's not possible to tell for sure. Do everything your doctor tells and wait. Miracles do happen. But I don't want to give you too much hopes either. Good luck to you!

The prognosis is not very good but some pregnancies continue and liquor amount keeps on increasing and decreasing. But there is no indication for terminating pregnancy at present. We have to wait with hope and positive outlook

Follow your doctor's advice. Nothing can be told now. Wait and watch and hope for the best. Repeat the scan after 1 week
