I am overwhelmed to share our success story of my daughter who underwent an uterine artery embolization. Yes, my daughter had her c section, and was blessed with twins. Post delivery, on her 25th day she had a heavy bleeding which we misunderstood it as her maternity periods. The bleeding continued for the next day and her gynecologist Dr. Chitra requested for a MRI scan, later which she identified an abnormal bleeding from one of the uterine artery. Dr. Chitra immediately referred my daughter to Dr. Mohnish @ Gleneagles Global hospital. With no delay we rushed to hospital and from the time we entered the emergency ward and till her discharge day, we were treated so well by each and every staffs. Dr. Mohnish guided the team along with Dr. Anandu and gave my daughter the best care and comfort. Doctor made sure that we understood what the issue was and also suggested what should be done next. We waited for a day of observation and decided to undergo Uterine artery embolization, which was the only recovery option. The procedure went on well and at time of procedure my daughter was also able to interact with Dr. Mohnish and know how the procedure is being done.. Dr. Mohnish made sure he visited us twice a day and made sure my daughter is doing well on the medication and her health and clarified all her doubt then and there.. The level of service and comfort that all the staffs gave was amazing and we are so thankful for all the supports. She is so kind and good inspiration to all womens. She always insist on normal delivery & monitors weight gain regularly. She made my first delivery normal. Now I consulted her for my second delivery she again made it normal. She gave me lots of hope and encouragement even though I gained weight during my first pregnancy. I was thoroughly touched by his goodwill gestures , when Dr. was showed his deep concern on my increased anxiety level which had been impacting my health badly on those challenging days while my mother was in Hospital and prescribed the right medication to ensure i am well and has been keeping a track on my health . Our daughter is an infant and she had a high fever last month.It's our first baby and we're not aware of seizures during fever.We went to an emergency hospital and they told us it's normal for kids to have febrile seizures during their fever episodes and asked us to go home.Later after getting back to home ,fever again peaked up to 103°c.we were horrified and panicked and thus went to global hospital which was very near to our home.we've waited till 40 mins and the doctor asked us to sponge bath the baby with a wet cloth.we have done it.After an hour or so,she came to us,in a rush and asked us few details about the same.We've explained everything,she listened to it and noted down on the paper.After all of these writings,she asked us to get admitted.Also rates were like 10k per day.Our home was just nearby- not even half km and we thought of going home and coming back incase of emergency.But she insisted upon staying there.Its our opinion whether or not to stay but she was sarcastic.said she'll not be getting any commision if we get admitted there.Being angry or anything on patients won't be good..she didn't prescribe any medicine,she didn't even explain why that could happen.** *** *** * *********** *******you would first make us feel calm and comfortable unlike threatening us to get admitted.And without doing nothing she's charged 1000 rs as a consultation charge.. I'm sorry if this is hurting but you made us feel sad too.And you have to know what it feels like!
